Guild bind spot

The Nexus

Priority order

1) Get Your AA's! (put it to /alt on 97, due to a rounding error this will net you max AA's and lvl XP)
- Tanks get
1) Physical Enhancment, since it increases both avoidence and AC
2) Combat Agility
3) Combat Stability
4) Natural Durability
5) Resists or go for DPS stuff, war's do the most damage from ripposts, if that is from tanking With sword and Board on raids or a 2 hander in Groups, so double rippost AA might be good to get at least 1 rank of before you do flurry AA's.

Healers:
1) Mental Clarity for 3 extra FT
2) Spell Casting Mastery, this is the only AA that reduces the mana cost of a CH (Focus effects do not effect the CH spell)

2) Bane Weapons

Two raid encounters in Luclin require melees to have bane weapons to be able to do damage to the NPC's in question, you need some tradeskill items to make them, if you are a tradskiller, please help your fellow guildies if you can :-)

3) Raiding keys

To gain Access to certain raid encounters we need to get keys for them, this includes; Upper SSRA Temple, Grieg, Emp SSRA and VT

1) Start working on your Emp key

The 2 Commanders you kill for Emp key can also drop the 2 keys needed for the Upper SSRA Temple events.

2) First floor Commander can drop the key for the Arch Leach door: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=22932

3) Second floor command can drop the key for XtC/High Priest door: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=16280

If you get any of the two keys, hold on to them and please announce it to the guild that you have them, since they are kind of a rare drop, we can not raid these targets before we have at least one of each key.

If you get this key please announce it to the guild since we can not raid Grieg until we have at least 1 key

Lcea Katta quads for up to 1300 damage, slowed her DPS is very low but spiky, so start healing With a CH before the tank takes dmaage or you will do OOM because of fast heals or the tank will die due to CH beeing to slow. She has a shit ton of HP's so With 2 Groups, expect her to take about 25 to 30 min to kill.

Small raid encounters that can be done with 1 to 2 groups

These 2 mini raids are a good source of Glowing Orb of Luclinite that everyone needs for their VT key, Level 60 spells and FT items.

I was able to do this with 2 groups 2 years ago, so this may have gotten easyer.

Info on the event

Tank had all defencive AA
2 cle's
Bard with OOS and tash stick
Shaman with malo and slow

With the stated debuffs above, it was kinda hard to slow her at times, so this is the min you need to land a slow I think. What would make this easyer, bards have oos and a magic dot that also lowers MR and a real enc would have a higher level Tash that would further reduce the MR so you could land slow, getting malosini in after malo/mala would further reduce her MR. I think both cle's were on Mounts, they were getting really low on mana at the end.

All Our current tanks have better AC then I had when I did this and with double bard manaregen, this encounter should be allot easier now a days, after the min requirements listed above to do this, the more people you add, the faster she dies. I used CoH splitting to the zone line near the main castle and killed her there, but I have seen others kill her in the corner near her spawn spot, as long as you keep it tight you should not get adds.

I think I did this with only 1 group, this is easier then the Katta raid, but he hits kinda hard.
It can only be slowed by disease slow

NOTE: This whole fight is under water, so make sure you have bard EB or some other kind of EB
NOTE 2: We will do the Sha event in here at some point, but there will be given a 1 week notice, so keep farming this guy every week until it gets announced.

This guy is rooted I seem to remember, so he can be predebuffed, I think he could be slowed, but I don't really remember :p

1 to 2 groups with an ok tank should be plenty.

Farming Level 60 spell components

In Sanctu Seru the mobs in one of the temples drop level 60 spell components, they are the only mobs in Luclin that does this. I think it was these guys: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/npc.html?id=8450

Enc's, shamans and bards

If you are an Enc or Shaman, during the Emp Event you will get hit allot and use allot of mana, so make sure to get:
Mental Calrity (FT)
Spellcasting Mastery (Lowers the mana cost of spells)
Gather Mana/Cannibalization
Physical Enhancment (helps you avoid and lower damage from melee)
Combat Agility (Helps you avoid damage)
Combat Stability (Helps you take less damage from melee)
Natural Durability (Gives you more HP to survive longer)

It opens up an AA that permanently increases your song skill and it stacks with everything.
Here is how to get it:

1. make your way down to the basement in SSRA Temple avoiding the see invis roamer at the bottom head to the north east corner by the locked door.
2. cast levitate on yourself, no shrink needed
3. work your way up the wall where and levitate to the top of the door frame
4. duck, look down, and squeeze thru the crack in the wall above the door
5. make your way up the stairs and to the right and the building with the mobs
6. pull or kill the couple snakes and the PH or the Disciple until he drops your Voice Serpent
